Hello Mrs. Armstrong, The Masked Truth remains one of my favorite books by you and I loved the construction of the characters (especially Max). I thought the plot was perfect it was one of the first stories I read that dealt with mental issues and death as an apparent role. Overall, the way I interpreted the story was, in short, awesome! I was wondering, how did you get your start in the publishing phase?

Kelley Armstrong I got an agent--a very good one. After that, it was smooth sailing. That makes it sound much easier than it was, but for me (as with many writers) getting an agent is the big hurdle. I received dozens of rejections from agents before one connected with my work and took me on as a client.
