I surprise some of my reader friends when I tell them I love young/new adult books. Are you surprised that "older" adults love your books?

Katie McGarry Hi Nise,

It doesn't surprise me at all. While I have a lot of readers who are teenagers, I also have a ton of readers who are adults. The young adult and new adult genres just means there are characters of a certain age. It doesn't mean that those books are just meant to be read by people of that age. The books are meant for people of all ages.
