Susan Mallery Hi, Deborah. I don't have any personal experience with adoption, but I did a lot of research to try to get the emotions right in ALREADY HOME. I was making dinner one night with the TV news going in the background, and they did a story about a woman whose birth parents showed up one day out of the blue, and I thought, "But what if she never wanted to meet them?" I don't think I ever did get around to making dinner that night. I was too busy scribbling notes and story ideas.

I really love all the characters you have created for the Fool's Gold series. What are some of the new characters that we have recently meant that will get their own love stories in the future? How many books do you think the series will end up having?

I love all the Fools Gold books. I would move there in a heartbeat. Would you consider making one of your heroins a plus size lady? I would love to see you come up with a story around a more unusual couple. He could be a down to earth rock of a man.
