Hi Abby,
Yes, I base my books off my past experiences and emotions. For things that fall outside of my realm of experience, I do a ton of research that includes reading and speaking with/interviewing people who have gone through whatever it is I'm writing about.
I hope you'll have a chance to read my newest novel, Say You'll Remember Me. It will be released on January 30, 2018!

Hi Katie I'm Miriam I really wanted to ask you what inspired you to come up with the ideas to write Pushing the limits? Was it hard to come up with Echo,Noah,and Beth? How did you come up with a story like that it was really creative to have a story where a girl's mom tries to kill her and she can't remembers what happens?
