Hi Claire,
I often do a ton of research.
For Crash Into You, I hung out at a legal dragway in Southwestern Jefferson County in Kentucky for a summer.
For Take Me On, I took MMA classes for a year.
For the Thunder Road series, I hung out with a motorcycle club.
For Say You'll Remember Me, I spent a lot of time researching the school-to-prison pipeline and the social justice system. I also talked to people who knew how to play the drums.

I really love how the situations of the PTL series and Thunder Road series are so real. Would you ever consider writing a new adult novel? Is that something you would like to write?
