Hello there, I've just started writing children's books, and I noticed this group so I've joined! I also noticed that you have a book that is in English and Spanish. Do you find that you present your story a little differently because of cultural differences? Thanks!

Thank you for your question. My book takes place in a fantasy world of elves so I didn't have to think about any cultural differences. Except for certain expressions and idioms, the books are closely translated.
I chose to have my book translated into Spanish because there is a need for 2nd grade/3rd grade Spanish titles in my 2nd grade classroom (in the U.S.A.). I wanted to be part of creating more titles that all my students can connect to and enjoy.
