I am a great fan of your writing. For me it's characters first, I have to like/love the characters which is why I love your books. Your bringing back characters we know from time to time is something I look forward to. That said, Lucy has always been my least liked character and now I have not read anything after her second book. My question is, if you plan on every moving on to new (or even old) characters?

Allison Brennan Hi Kim: Thank you so much for writing! I'm sorry you're not invested in the Lucy Kincaid series, thanks for letting me know.

I have the Maxine Revere cold case mystery series. NOTORIOUS, COMPULSION and POISONOUS are the books out in the series, and SHATTERED will be out in August.

Laura Griffin and I co-write the Moreno & Hart mysteries about female private investigators in Orange County, CA. They are only available in ebook right now.

I'm working on a stand alone thriller -- this is a book without recurring characters. It's about a father and daughter stranded in the Adirondacks. I don't know when it'll be out, probably not until 2018.

I'm also developing a new FBI series with completely new characters.

Finally, I'm thinking about writing a trilogy set in the Lucy Kincaid world but focusing on the people around her, specifically JT Caruso and his sister. Lucy and Sean would be in more of a support role.

Since you ended the Lucy series after 2, you might try COLD SNAP with is a 3 novella book about the Kincaid's going home for Christmas. It focuses on Patrick Kincaid, Lucy and Carina and brings in everyone in the family. DEAD HEAT is the 8th Lucy book and begins her career in the FBI set in San Antonio.
