Goodreads asked Ravi Nirmal Sharma:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Ravi Nirmal Sharma Ha ha! Whatever you cant do in real life, you can do as a writer.

I mean speak up when you can be tongue tied.

Mouth impressive dialogues when the introvert in you has anxiety issues dealing with people.

Influence, inspire and change people's mindsets with words when you cannot do this with a single person in real life.

Create your own reality and sometimes see it come alive as many science fiction writers have realized.

Have a high Imaginary Quotient the like of which is rare.

Be surprised by what made you write what you wrote. You really doubt you were really capable of that brilliance and yet it stares at you. Did you write or did your muse write it. Keep wondering about it.

Enjoy being a good listener instead of a compulsive talker.

Observe and absorb people's traits and motives of which, even they are not aware of.

Enjoy the fruits of an incisive observation of human nature and enjoy it secretly.

Play God in the imaginary world you create.

Reach out to thousands of people because of the worth of your words.
