Hi Faith, thanks for asking! My editor at MLR, Kris Jacen, suggested this idea for a story -- send Kimo and Mike to some cold snowy location and see what happens. So in a way it's "out of time," though clearly after they've gotten back together! If I _had_ to place it I'd put it the winter before the twins are born.
