Hi Margaret,

Thanks for your kind words about the Have Body Will Guard series. I love writing about Aidan and Liam and I'm delighted that readers want to read about them!

It's interesting that yours is the second question I've gotten that makes it sound like Finding Freddie Venus is the last. I didn't mean it to read that way!

I have written a very rough draft of book #8 and put it aside to let it simmer for a while. That's my process-- I write the first draft, put it aside, and come back to it a few months or more later to revise. Then the book goes to my editor who often has some major comments, and I do another draft.

So I don't quite know when the book will come out-- it doesn't even have a good title yet! Probably not until next summer, as I have a bunch of other stuff in the pipeline. But don't worry, I'm not done with them yet!(less)

I’ve been struggling with a new tagline for my books that will encompass all of them—something Jeff Goins calls a manifesto. I used to use “gay men in love and danger,” but that doesn’t cover my golden retriever books or some of the other miscellaneous things I’ve written.
It’s an interesting exercise, to look at all the thirty-plus books I’ve published and see if there is a common thread that... Read more of this blog post »

Neil Plakcy Thanks so much! I love Liam and Aidan too and am always glad to hear that others do! The third book in the series, Teach Me Tonight, sends them on assignment together to a summer study program in Bizerte, on the Mediterranean coast, to protect a student who has been threatened. Aidan rediscovers how much he loves teaching, and Liam's friend Joey shows up... leading to all kinds of complications! It's in the copy edit stage now so should be out in the next month or two.
Best,
Neil

Lauraadriana Hi Neil,
Thanks for the invite...Can I just tell you I read Three Wrong Turns in the Desert and Dancing with the Tide this week and LOVED THEM!! I read with a group of friends, and we just could not get enough of Liam and Aidan. What fantastic men, so sweet, funny, and HOTTTT! The adventure was great as well.
Anyways thanks for great books and looking forward to more of those boys!
Have a great weekend :O)
