I love the depth of research apparent in your books. The thing that always blows me away is the science talk. Can you tell us a little bit about if you already had science leanings or if you had to do a bunch of extra research to make Matthew, Miriam and Marcus sound so real?

well, I'm a historian of science so I do try to keep up with scientific developments now as well as in the past. I was actually terrible at science in high school, but I know lots of scientists and they have been very generous with helping me to get the science just right when I'm done with my research.

Are you just as sad as your readers that this fabulous story is at an end...or could there be more to come ( fingers crossed, pretty please) perhaps Gallowglass has a little story of his own, what will the future hold for Marcus or the twins? Surely Diana has a complex and interesting new story ahead. Thank you for this trilogy it has been amazing x
