How did you create the names of the characters?

Jacqueline Winspear In general names just come to me, though sometimes I fiddle with them a bit as a character develops - I want the name to fit the person. Maisie Dobbs has always been Maisie Dobbs though!

As 'committed' as I am to Maisie, Perhaps you've answered this and I've missed your response, but I really can't imagine that "A Dangerous Place" is simply a one-off. You aren't leaving this very intriguing story line... are you?
