Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Annie Streger The idea for Incineration grew when I thought about how people would react if a massive plague annihilated the world. Outbreak and dystopian novels aren't new, so I tried to pull it part and ask myself very simple questions about human behavior.

If there were few of us left in a city, how would they get food? Would they scavenge for food or grow it?

Would people come together as a species, or would they fight as individuals?

When I thought of potential answers to those questions, I ran with it and Incineration and Burning Ascension (book 2), were born. :)
