I'm asking for a friend who's having trouble filling the middle part of her plot. She says she's organized it into three acts and has act one mostly planned out as well as parts of act three, but has no clue how to address the gaping hole that is act two. Do you have any tips for her?

Jessica Day George She needs to make a list of things that have to happen for her characters to get from Act 1 to Act 3. Anything tools they need to have, or skills. Where did they get/learn them? Information they need. Places they need to go. Best of luck to her!
