The scenes that you write when your characters are intimate, are steamy, and that you can always feel how much the characters feel about each other. And still the scenes are never overly graphic. My question for you is how do you go about planning these scenes? Thank You, Emma

Susan Mallery Hi, Emma! I think the steamy scenes in my books maybe don't feel as graphic to you, even though they are quite sexy, is because the focus remains on the emotions. Otherwise, sex scenes can become interchangeable, which is not good. When I plan a love scene, it's very important to me to know where the characters are emotionally so they can interact with each other on a deeper level than just the physical.
