Juliet Marillier:
Hello Juliet! I was wondering ( not dealing with Shadowfell as of yet!) but is there any chance you can visit Florida? Specifically Orlando ? I know fans from this part of town would love to get their books signed by you! Or is there anyway we can send you a letter that you can sign? I remember doing that few years back with another author. Though you are by far my favorite author - so it would have more value.

Hi Feena. I don't have any travel to the US planned for this year - publishers don't pay for international tours these days unless the author is extremely famous (more so than I am.) I may get over there at some point in the next couple of years if there's a convention or writers' festival I'm keen to attend. Maybe you can let me know if anything like that is planned in Orlando in 2015 or 2016!
I do have a mailing address:
PO Box 189
Guildford WA 6935
Australia
I reply to all snail mail from readers and am happy to send signed bookplates and (when I have them) bookmarks - one or two per person.
How nice to hear I am your favourite author. That has made my day!
All the best, Juliet M

I know it may be a silly question but... where do you like writing? And I don't just mean places, like at home, but if you like handwriting or computer writing. And if it's in a computer, do you think the programs or tipe of letters matter to you? They influence you somehow? I think that's it. Thank you for your books, they save me every time <3

Juliet Marillier:
I have been such a fan of yours, I was really disappointed to hear that publishers were not excited about your recent suggestions. Would you ever consider some sort of self publishing since you have such a keen fanbase? There were a few series that the publishers didn't continue like Wildwood that I wonder if you might want to continue if you had freedom to write whatever you liked and knew it could be published?
