Not really a question? I just finished Penric's Mission (I see you've managed to find a protagonist even crazier than Miles), and I thought you might get a small kick out of this picture. That statue's been sitting on my Bujold shelf for years, for no particular reason, but it's a neat bit of synchronicity. image link: http://ic.pics.livejournal.com/windfallswest/3564497/1673/1673_300.jpg

Hee. You may now dub it Madame Owl, I suppose...
Glad you like Penric. I'm enjoying him too.
Although I would maintain that Pen is quite sane. And so are the majority of the voices in his head, most of the time...
bests, Lois.

Dear Lois,
I am a long time fan and would firstly like to thank you for the universes you have produced for our enjoyment.
I find myself wondering about Duv Galeni. In 'Memory' and 'Kommar' it is mentioned that Duv and Miles worked a case together on Kommar and Miles helped Duv with a memorial burning for his Aunt. My question is am I missing a novella? Or is this event entirely 'off-page'?
Regards
Peter

Not a question, just a Thankyou. I am really enjoying the Penric novellas, not just for the content (which is excellent) but also for the Serial Form, it takes me back to being a kid when serial instalments where all the go and, even though we would be hanging out for the "next instalment" we didn't have to wait ages for another exciting adventure. Love having a really good read more frequently. Thanks Lois!?
