Gabby Woods asked Marsha Hubler:

How where you inspired to wright books? Does writing energize or exhaust you? How many hours a day do you usually write? What other authors are you friends with, and how do they help you become a better writer? How do you select the names of your characters? If you didn’t write, what would you do for work?

Marsha Hubler Hi, Gabby, I feel God has called me to write books just like missionaries are called to go to foreign lands and tell others about our Savior, Jesus Christ. I love to tell stories with characters who love God. On good days, I write about 4 or 5 hours. I am friends with many different authors. Many of them have reviewed my work and have edited it and helped me find errors so I could make the story better. I like to select names for my characters that are really different because my characters are really different. I also choose names for my main female characters (Skye, Dallis, Woody, Rickie) that could also be names for boys. I do have another job beside writing. I'm a homeschool consultant and evaluator in the state of Pennsylvania. Once a year, homeschoolers must have a review of their work by an educator. I'm someone who can do that for them. :) Thank you for your interest in my books and me. Have you read SNOW, PHANTOM STALLION OF THE POCONOS yet?
