When I do, I take a break, like one or two days away from the manuscript, then come back to it and read the story or book from the beginning. I then spend quality time thinking through the manuscript to the end. That usually gets me going again.(less)

I love to tell stories with characters who love God. On good days, I write about 4 or 5 hours. I am friends with many different authors. Many of them have reviewed my work and have edited it and helped me find errors so I could make the story better. I like to select names for my characters that are really different because my characters are really different. I also choose names for my main female characters (Skye, Dallis, Woody, Rickie) that could also be names for boys. I do have another job beside writing. I'm a homeschool consultant and evaluator in the state of Pennsylvania. Once a year, homeschoolers must have a review of their work by an educator. I'm someone who can do that for them. :) Thank you for your interest in my books and me. Have you read SNOW, PHANTOM STALLION OF THE POCONOS yet?

Marsha Hubler Maria, Goodreads mistakenly entered THE SCARLET LETTER as one of the books I've read. The book is really called THE LETTER by Richard Paul Evans. (I think they're the correct title and author. It's been several months since I read it, and my memory is REAL short these days.) I don't think I'm ready to tackle anything as "heavy" as THE SCARLET LETTER. It's too depressing for this time of year. Ha ha. Have a good day.

message 2: by Maria

Maria Nice to meet you, Marsha :) Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

message 1: by Robyn

Robyn Jones Thanks for friending me. I see you're reading the Scarlet Letter. I have fond memories of the acutal task of making my way through that book. It was the first of many homework assignments my mom had to dive in as if she were the student. It became one of those stories that stayed with me over the years. These days I'm much more into escapism fiction.
