asked:
In Chapter 15, Caleb gets Leah to admit that she "did" do something (something to do with her sister?) I wasn't sure what she was admitting to (besides getting pregnant on purpose, there was another thing she admitted to which seemed to seal the deal in his mind against her.) I'd had the book on audio, so I prob missed what they were referring to in one of the past tense chapters. Help? They're on the beach.

I know you asked this 4 years ago but in case you're still wondering about this, I found the answer in book 3. Basically, Leah lied to Caleb and told him that she was pregnant when she committed suicide and swallowed a bottle of sleeping pills. When he visited her in the hospital, she told him that she just lost their child. So, Caleb stayed with her because he thought she was distressed from losing the baby right after her sister's injury. But later in book 3, we learn that Leah was never pregnant and she led him to believe that she was so that he wouldn't leave her.

I just finished book 2. I think it's her swallowing a bottle of sleeping pills, then she admitted she's pregnant so Caleb won't leave her. I think that's what Caleb refers to when he asked after her admission she planned the pregnancy, if what happened next (suicide attempt) is also planned.

I think they only have it on Amazon which is where I bought it.
