Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

J.M. Robison It was midnight and I still had a 3 1/2 hour drive ahead of me. I was so tired, I started grasping for random things to feed my imagination and keep my mind occupied to keep me awake. By the time I pulled up in my driveway, I had a beginning, middle, and ending for The Last Wizard. Thinking back on it, I couldn't even tell you exactly what the prompt was because I was so tired.
