Hi Leisa! How are you? I really love the Starcrossed series! And so I was wondering, where do you get your inspiration from? Do you like theatre? And if so, which is your favorite play? Have a great day!

Hi Yunue!
Yes, I got a lot of my inspiration for Bad Romeo/Broken Juliet from my own time at drama school and as a professional actress. I've wanted to be an actress since I was a little girl, and just like Cassie, my parents weren't thrilled about me even auditioning for drama school. I traded off with my dad that if he let me audition, I'd also apply for journalism and law.
After I found out I'd gotten accepted to drama school, I was so ecstatic, my dad didn't have the heart to tell me I couldn't go, and the rest, as they say, is history.
I've been a professional actor and singer for most of my adult life. This wonderful left turn into publishing has only happened in the past few years, and I couldn't be happier about it.
Thanks so much for your question.

Hello Leisa! I just want to say your Starcrossed series is my all time favorite series. I relate to it so so much and I love the characters so much! So I was wondering, where did you receive your inspiration for writing this series from? It was so amazing and I bet it took such thinking to come up with the complex personalities of the characters! Thank you so much for this amazing series!

Hiiii! I already said that to you on facebook a few months a go and I really know that you're a very busy woman, but I need ask again. You'll do a "Ethan&Cassie" playlist? I pretty shure that all fans in the world would love to know the songs that you have in mind for they. Like, the songs that inspired you to write this history, or the songs that you know Cassie and Ethan would hear for sure. You know what I mean?
