In my series the gods grow as usual until their body reaches its physical and mental prime, which in the typical human body doesn't happen all at once (so for the gods that means some things freeze in place, caught in a perfect moment, while others continue to develop). The outwardly obvious physical aspect of that process ends in a typical persons late twenties/early thirties. Factoring in that their bodies heal from all physical stresses, Hades looks to be in his mid-twenties. Many gods in my series are just created at that perfect point, making their physical ages difficult to determine (which is why Aphrodite can pass for a high schooler in Iron Queen, well, that and charm)
