Hi my name is April. I know what I'm about to ask has been asked before. At what age and why did you become an author?

Gena Showalter I was in my late twenties when my first book was published. I started writing because it was the only career I could see myself doing long term. I had ideas and a passion to create worlds and characters on paper (or the computer) :) So I just sat down and started writing!
