Hey! I really want to read this book but I have to ask first: Is this one of those books that "romanticize" rape and violence?

Like there's plenty of violence and mention of rape but i don't remember it being romanticized as in "well they fall in love later so it's ok" like there's real horror and disgust portrayed.

Edit: I remembered a blog post where someone asked about this so I double checked and "there are a couple of mentions about a rape that occurred outside the direct view of the main character in middle of the book, but other than that all sex is consensual"
