I heard that the FX deal is over and they passed on a Archie, Gretchen series (dumb asses) :) HBO should pick it up..Don't have to worry about censorship/nudity/language/violence..They have had and still have some of the best shows on there. I read Heartsick when it first came out..and told my wife..This could be turned into a movie..but now with all the other Archie/Gretchen books...TV series is the way to go!! :)

I agree with your astute assessment and appreciate the wise counsel. (TV is TOTALLY the way to go. Why try to tell a story in 90 min when you can do it in 90 episodes?)

First, I have to say that I am a HUGE fangirl of all things Archie & Gretchen! AND I just got One Kick today and am SUPER excited to read it! My question: what inspired the A&G relationship? How did you one day think "I will write super twisted psychological thrillers that will continuously blow my readers' minds"? Was it something you read? A dream? Divine revelation? Thank you! I actually squealed when I read that there will be more Archie and Gretchen books!!! Susan Ward is hands down one of my absolute favorite characters EVER-I just love her to death! And Gretchen is fucking awesome :) That being said, I'm super crazy excited about One Kick and I can't wait to read it! Random Q: If you could watch a favorite movie with one of your characters who would it be and what would you watch?
