Other books are read by the author, which is harder to get through because his voice isn't for everyone. My teens found it too slow to listen to him.
I would agree: Hometown Johnstown Flood is a great starting book. I read the physical book. For audio, I've listened to the Wright Brothers and the Americans in Paris (can't remember if that's the full name). I personally enjoyed the way he wove together the Paris book, being a huge fan of political and art history.(less)
