Donna asked Susan Mallery:

When you start to write a book, do you start with an outline of what you think you want to write, or just write as you go?

Susan Mallery Donna, oh, the age-old "plotter" versus "pantser" question. (A "pantser is a person who writes by the seat of her pants.) I'm a plotter. I might be the plottiest plotter of them all. LOL I write such a detailed plot that it could be considered a very short first draft of the book. That's where I iron out any story problems that might come up, which liberates me to write very quickly once I get started.
