Hi Gena! I have one more question for you. I'm sorry if I was supposed to only ask one! But I just finished a novel and my word count is over 100,000 words; will some publishing companies and editors/agents not accept my work if it's over that? If so, any ideas on ways to trim a novel without taking out the important parts? Thank you so much, again!

Gena Showalter I wouldn't worry about word count. It can be increased or decreased during revisions. I think editors and agents are more concerned with "voice." :) And congrats on finishing your novel!! That's a huge accomplishment!
