Tarragon asked Melanie Dickerson:

Thank you so much for your writing. So many authors assume that they can write historically inaccurate books, but as an avid history learner, I appreciate the facts that your books are delightfully historically accurate. Where do you research the historical facts?

Melanie Dickerson Hi, Kathryn! Thank you! I research by using a variety of sources. I have been researching Medieval Europe for years, so I have a pretty good knowledge base, having read a lot of books, but I also search the internet for facts as I write and plot. There's so much great info that's easily accessible these days. Thankfully! And though I am relatively new at writing books set in the Regency England setting, I try really hard to get my facts straight. I'm sure I make a few mistakes here and there, but I really try to research diligently. I just recently bought a book on Regency spies that is helping me a lot with my third book in that series. Thanks for asking!
