At what ages did you start writing?

Gena Showalter I was in my early twenties. I was a young mother of two, justifiably voted worst employee ever by my mom, and I'd dropped out of college...twice at that point, I think. (I've since dropped out thrice) I could not decide on a major. Couldn't see myself doing anything long term...until I pictured myself writing. I loved to read and I had my own stories percolating. I decided to go for it, and for the first time in my life, I poured myself into a job. I adored the process and knew I'd found my calling.
