So many people had the same experience! It's a bit of a surprise! But glad you found your way to the list. I'll be really curious to know what books you'll be reading. Hope you enjoy them as much as my mother and I did. Oh, and I have one more book to add: my new book. It's called BOOKS FOR LIVING and releases on December 27, 2017. It too has a large book list in the back.

Hi Will! Thank you for your quick reply. I was just searching for a good book on the history of Ireland as I am heading there tomorrow for a two week visit. Do you know that when I googled top books by Irish authors one list showed Dracula by Bram Stoker as number 1? I had no idea Bram Stoker was Irish! Of course this led to a Wikipedia check and the info that Bram was friends with Oscar Wilde. So I am still looking!

Hi Will, my dear father Murray died 10th July- last week. It was a journey similar to you and your mum, except he wrote two family history books in the last six months and I formatted them and helped research. The question is.... I now have time to read and look after myself. What books would you suggest at this stage of grief? Regards, Carolyn
