Hi Gena. I haven't read the Lords of the Underworld Tales yet, but I was wondering if this series will be at all like the White Rabbit Chronicles. Also, a few questions about WRC. When writing the series, did you have plans for each character's story and who they would end up with? And when coming up with Ali and Cole specifically, did you know right away that they would have special powers? Thanks!

Gena Showalter Hmm. Lords of the Underworld is like White Rabbit Chronicles in that they are both -- at heart -- paranormal romances. However, there are many more differences. Lords are sexier, grittier and darker, and written in third person. Each tale is written from a new hero and heroine's point of view.

White Rabbit Chronicles is written for a teen audience, so they are much tamer. They are written in first person and most of the stories focus on one girl's point of view.

I did know Ali and Cole would end up together. Romance is my jam, so their relationship was a priority for me. :)

In the beginning, I didn't know all of the powers Ali would have. Those became apparent as I delved deeper into the story.
