Bits and pieces of my loved ones have shown up in my books at time or twelve :) Sometimes I'm unaware of it until one of my siblings points it out, but other times I do it on purpose. The women in my life are strong and supportive, and I like to ensure (at least by the end of the book) each of my heroines has a female friendship without any catty undertones. The men in my life are blessed with wry humor, and I so enjoy injecting that same humor into my heroes (and heroines!)
