When I visit schools for author talks I always say that there are two things I love about writing:
1. I get to control the whole world when I write.
2. Writing can be fixed. I can get the idea out of my head as fast as I can, and then I can go back and make it the best it can be.
But the truth is that the best thing about being a writer is getting to do something I love every day.

Hey! I am a huge fan of the Mapmaker Chronicles and am on the edge of my seat for book five! Is there any progress on that? If there is none that's ok, I understand. I read the previous answers to this question however I am not sure how old those questions are as it doesn't tell me. Also, do you have any advice for a young writer who wants to start writing but doesn't know where to begin? Especially in fantasy genre.
