Hi Kate, thanks so much for your question and for reading the books. I have another book out this year called 'Willow Bright's Secret Plot', which is a coming of age/mystery middle-grade novel like The First Summer of Callie McGee, so perhaps have a look for that one in the first instance.
I also have a middle-grade romance novel on the way early next year, and I am currently working on another cold-case crime novel, with a similar feel to Danger Road. I'm hoping that one will be out in the world towards the end of 2026.

Oh gosh Elijah, this is like asking me who my favourite child is. I spend so much time with my characters in my head that they feel like family. So I guess my answer is probably the one who's starring in the book I'm writing at the moment, because I'm just getting to know them!

Gosh, Carolyn, I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to respond to your question. I'm not on Goodreads very often, and clearly need to do better! Unfortunately, I still don't have an answer on book 5 for The Mapmaker Chronicles, which is really disappointing, I know.

Hi Caitlin, I'm so sorry this has taken me so long to answer. I love the girls from The Book Of Secrets and I really like the way that they work together and complement each other so well. One of the other things I love about them is the family relationship between them. With Merry and Gwyn being sisters, Scarlett being a cousin and Midge being practically adopted by all of them, they have that easy familiarity between them that makes them a joy to write.
