I was wondering if you can add a compass rose to your maps? Since sometimes in the books you refer to south west or any other direction and it's not bottom left corner as I would assume, since normally north is top of the map, but somewhere else completely, so it got me confused... not sure if it's intentional! But would help the world-building/clarity imho...!

Brian McClellan The maps are oriented like a conventional map (west on the left, east on the right, etc). Unfortunately the maps for the next book have already gone to print but I'll try to remember a compass rose for the next book.

The Powder Mage series was great! Its only a matter of time before you are on tour. So please add Denver when that time comes, thanks! Does the publisher set a mark that you need to reach before a book tour is considered? How close are you?

Hi Brian, I'm a huge fan of your Powder Mage trilogy! I just finished the Autumn Republic last week (an excellent conclusion to a riveting series), but it left me saddened that this could be the last time I read about these characters. Have we seen the last of Taniel and Ka-Poel, or will they be making some appearances in future books? Can't wait until your next book hits the shelves!
