So this is going to sound bizarre, but this is a two part question. The thing that "inspires" me the most is music. However, I have to get the "itch" to really be able to write. For me, I get this feeling of needing to put words on paper, like I suddenly had an amazing idea and need to write it. Which is why some days I can write 5k words and others are only 5. A lot of times I will listen to music to gear up, so to speak.
