I'm not sure. A lot of books have magic systems where you're born with it or you're not. So I'd want to go somewhere I could earn magic and that my destiny would be what I make of it. Not somewhere where I'd still be a sorta lame human. LOL.

Currently there's no plans for continuations in that universe in any official capacity. I think I'll likely come back and write some short stories just for fun that explore Kairick, Trissa, and a little bit of Axe and Vaughn, later on down the road. Maybe some novella's. Never know there! I appreciate the interest and I'll definitely share online if/when I do!

I started my first book at fourteen and finished it by fifteen, totaling over 100K words. It was what is now known as Heir of Shadows, after much, much editing and rewriting.

Hmmm, if I'm being honest it was a compilation of ideas and everything I have ever read or dreamt. I didn't pull inspiration from any one thing for this series, if anything the characters came to me. I always day dreamed a lot as a kid, and Selena's story was definitely one of the more prominent ones I had where I would map out scenes or think up crafty villains. Fun fact, Selena's name was originally Guinevere because I was obsessed with this name until about 14, it's very old fashioned and does not fit her though so I changed it when I started writing.

This is a hard one--but I have to say the couple I think I fell in love with the most when I read about it, is Juliette and Warner from Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi. They are just everything to me, even to this day. Gahh, I love it!
