Do you have to read the second one to read this one? I'm interested in Miranda's story, not in the other guy's.

You get a lot more knowledge on Alex’s story, and you get where he’s coming from at certain moments of the book. To be honest, I hated it, but Miranda’s story is always good. Dead and the Gone wasted my time, but it’s not horrible in all aspects. Besides, some people DO like it.
