Currently we're watching Max Irons in Tutankamen... not sure I believe the romance. Then I find that you played Howard Carter !! Did you find anything in your research about a romance?? I have a couple of your books and really enjoy you Chicken recipes :)

I believe H Carter was gay though I didn't know that at the time. There was no romance in the film though I remember filming a dinner scene with Eva Marie Saint who was playing a fictional journalist. What a privilege that was.

Hi Robin, I was brought up in the 70's watching your Poldark and rewatched when repeated in the 80's. I'm so pleased that you are part of the current Poldark and am loving the way you are playing the exasperated Rev. Halse. The BBC are obviously throwing a lot of money at the current production and I was wondering how 'big budget' the original series was considered at the time?
