Hi! I loved Nerve, and I was wondering how you got inspiration for it?

The first spark for the book idea came when I was watching my niece texting a bunch of friends, while at the same time chatting with a group of family IRL. I wanted to capture the dual real life/online life dynamic in a story. At the time, I also was struck by how much personal info everyone was sharing online, and how far reality programming participants were willing to go in the name of ratings. Putting all of those ideas together into a simple game of truth or dare (and eventually removing the truth part), I came up with NERVE.

I read Nerve, I watched the movie, and I was kinda sad that it was almost nothing like the book. I kept suspecting I would see some of the details in the book as I had the movie, but no. Is there anything you would've liked to change about how they made the movie?

Hi i have read and watched the film Nerve i loved it so much and to be honest as a 19 year old college student that loves to read i have never found my self wanting a book to have a sequel/ second part.This story is just so amazing please i ask of you to make a sequel theres nothing i would want more right now than that. Also how did you feel when you found out nerve was becoming a movie?

Hi Jeanne, I really liked your book 'Nerve'. I also went to see the movie and was surprised to see that the storyline was quite different to the book. I think the movie's story was equally good but, do you like where they took the story? Do you think you might have liked it better if it stayed truer to the book? Thanks
