Any desire to do a small cameo on your Netflix show?

David Wong I had the opportunity to appear in the movie (they needed extras for a party scene anyway) but didn't fly out there. I had a good reason - with a project like this, I can assume one of two roles: Either I'm 100% in charge of it, or I'm 100 miles away. There is no in between. If the show gets made and they invite me out there, I'll probably go to meet everyone and shake hands, but I'll stay far away from the set - once I'm there, I'm going to start second-guessing everything from the casting to the costume choices. I'm fine once I see the finished thing - then I can just enjoy it like a fan. But they would hate having me around on the set.

Kinda off-the-wall question, but do you happen to suffer from sleep paralysis? if so, did this have any effect on the things you have written about? (mainly JDATE and TBIFOS)

This isn't a question but I died and was revived in 2011 and spent a week in a coma afterwards. Upon reawakening a friend gave me John Dies At The End. I read it while recovering in the hospital, pondering what everything meant. That book really helped me get through a really weird, dark, confusing time in my life. It was as trippy as I wanted and and funny as I needed. I just wanted to say thanks for that book?
