John J Questore
John J Questore asked David Wong:

I'd venture to say that most, if not all, writers are voracious readers as well. It sort of goes with the territory. If you aren't of the King, Barker, Woo, Patterson, etc. fame, how do you balance the love of reading with the need to write - and still have to have a 40+ hour a week job to pay the bills and be a family man? There just isn't enough time in the day. How did you do it?

David Wong I don't have children, a social life, or hobbies, or sleep a full eight hours on any night. I don't drink, I don't have a drug habit, I don't go out with friends or travel or tend a garden or play a sport. Also, the day job is 70 hours a week, on a light week (it can be up to 100 during a crunch). You'd be surprised what you can get done when you're always doing something. There are actually a lot of hours in a week. Note: I'm not the hardest working person I know, and in fact I'm not close.
