Is anybody else getting "Passenger" vibes from the synopsis? Ya know, the new JLaw and Chris Pratt movie? I saw the trailer and was like, "Whoa. That sounds really familiar."

The script for Passengers has been around for a decade, finding continual difficulty to get made. Across the Universe came out five years ago. Beth may have read the script and wrote the book knowing that she could get away with it assuming that Passengers wouldn't get made-- until it did. It's a really good movie, despite some messed-up morals-- Jennifer Lawrence steals the show.(less)
