Hi Ms. Cast. Ive read your House of Night series and I loved it! Im currently writing two books right now, one is about mythology, and the other is about the struggles of a teen girl who has to learn to embrace her body and herself for who she is. However, my question is how do keep make your stories reach out to other readers? For example in your HoN series, you touched on the topic of LGBT.

Your characters must resonate with readers. You have to create fictional people with whom real people can identify. Then it doesn't matter whether the readers have the same sexual orientation, race, religion, etc., as your characters, or not. Your readers will care about them. Best of luck to you!
