Hi Rebeca,
Growing up, life was complicated. Between me and my friends, our home lives were very complicated. We faced very tough circumstances.
I write characters with problematic lives because that's a reflection of what I faced when I was a teen.
I love that my characters are connected. I honestly had a conversation with a friend yesterday about how, in the town we live in, there's a small degree of separation. That if you talk to someone new long enough, you can find someone you know in common. I think you can see this reflected in my stories.

Okay, so I'm not someone who cries very often. I had never cried while reading a book before your Pushing the Limits series. I just finished the second book and it made my cry just like the first one. Like the sloppy king of crying. The books are amazing and I can't wait to get my hands on Crashing into You. Why must you make me cry?
