I've started re-reading your books in chronological order this time. I just started The Virtuoso and Valentine has just referred to Nicholas's wedding to Darias's sister Leah so I'm thinking I should read Darias and Nicholas before The Virtuoso. Am I right?

It's.... complicated, mostly because of Darius, and how long it took him to get his story complete. (Vivien says genius cannot be rushed). On a book-by-book basis, you are right that Nicholas is married by the time he appears in the Virtuoso, and Darius's story has certainly also started before he goes off to the country with Valentine. I think yes, you could read Nick and Leah's story before Valentine's, but Darius's story, which extends past The Virtuoso, might best be saved for after The Virtuoso....
and yet, I know: Darius was published before Nicholas. That decision was made so Nicholas would be kept contiguous to Ethan, Beckman, and Gabriel, who finish out that segment of books. If I had it to do over, I would not have written such convoluted sequencing. My apologies, but I hope you can enjoy the stories nonetheless.

Hello! I've tried to figure this out for myself, but I'm stumped.... When and where was Max Haddonfield discovered? Having read Nicholas, Thomas, Matthew, and then the True Gentleman and now "Love and other perils", where did Max come from? He's not listed in Nicholas 's book at the death of his father and Ethan was an acknowledged son, so I'm curious. Which book is he discovered in? Thank you for your writing!

Are there any other booms abouy the McLogas? I have read The Laird at least three times now and cant help but agree that Neil needs his own Happily Ever After. Between the urge to keep everyone safe and him doggin Angus, the scene in Aberdeen, and the pipes, I am just so intrigued by him amd hope he also finds happiness.
