So nice to hear from you. Sorry that you are also from an abusive home, but happy you are out now. I believe in karma as well maybe not in a literal sense but more of a "you reap what you sow"

I got a letter from my sister a few weeks ago and she said that my mom and step-dad are all alone on the mountain and seem quite sad. Fanny died a year ago. It makes me sad to think of them all alone and miserable and old, but what can I do? I don't want anything to do with them, not good for my mental health.

But if worse came to worse and they were bed ridden and had no one I might have to rethink that, as much as it makes me shiver!!!!!
