Hi Emma, just want to say that your books are the one of the best i've read in contemporary romance. My question is how do you plan out your stories? What is the process you go through, from formulating the characters to actually developing them into the storyline etc. Eagerly awaiting Royally Screwed! -Anika

Hi Anika,
Thank you so much - I'm thrilled to know you enjoy my stuff! The way story planning usually works for me starts with the main character. They just sort of pop into my head - how they look, their personality. After that, the ending and the very beginning of the story is usually most clear to me and I spend some time working out in my head how the character gets from who they are in the beginning to who they become in the end.
That's when I start taking notes, writing outlines and jotting down bits of dialogue. Lastly (and sometimes when I'm already writing the book) I end up with a chapter list - which is just short notes on what scenes/content each chapter will cover. The bulk of the story stays in my head, but the chapter list is really helpful in keeping me organized and focused.
I always end up tweaking the story a bit along the way, but when each chapter is crossed off the list - I have a book!
Can't wait to share Royally Screwed with you!!
xoxo

I just wanted to let you I just finished your Tangled series and I must say they they were the hottest, funniest books I've ever read! I'm a voracious reader reading one or more books a day. I'd rather read than sleep! I laughed until my face hurt and I had to start reading to my husband because he wanted to know what was so funny. There was a time or two that I cried. Can you post FB and Amazon author page links?

I just want to say thank you so much for writing such wonderful stories. I just finished listening to Getting Schooled and laugh and cried. It made my drive home from work nice and quick. Garrett was such a great character and I look forward to the rest of the series. Do you have any time frame when Dean's story will be realease?
